W… W… W… Wednesday, hosted by Taking on a World of Worlds is a weekly meme showcasing what you just finished reading, what you are currently reading, and what you plan to start reading next. Except I’m changing it up a bit, since I can never plan what I’m reading next (moody reader). Instead I’m going to talk about a book I’ve recently added to my TBR that I’m excited about!

I’m still here! My reading took a hit for a few weeks, as I was on vacation and spending as much time as I could doing fun stuff with my family. Now I’m trying to get my reading (and blogging) mojo back.

what i recently finished reading

It has been awhile since I read a Jill Mansell book, and I really enjoyed this one. A great summer/beach read.

Shelter in Place was really good. Very timely and relevant story with lots of suspense and just enough romance. Nora Roberts has upped her game.

The Fragile Ordinary was a really good YA novel, and I especially enjoyed listening to the audio version.

 what i’m currently reading

I set Us Against You aside to focus on finishing the Nora Roberts book. I’m just getting back into it this week.

I also put My Sunshine Away on hold, because I received a few other audio books that I had been anxiously waiting for.

I have loved the previous two books in the Opposites Attract series, but something just isn’t clicking for me with this book. I’m hoping that changes, as I’m about 30% in and don’t want to DNF.

what i have recently added to my tbr

This was my BOTM choice for July.

It’s starting to improve. I’m about halfway. I don’t know what is not clicking with me, but it’s definitely not as good as the first two.

Ghosted sounds so good. I’ve had it on my Goodreads TBR since before it was released. I can’t wait until my BOTM box gets here today, because I chose that one as well.

I’m really curious about Us Against You! I love Fredrik Backman and even though I found Beartown to be a slowburner, I can’t wait to find out how things continue.
