It’s coming….

giphy (1)

I think pulling together my Halloween TBR is by far my favorite post of the year. I’ve done this the past several years, and though I may not always stick to my list, it’s still fun. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I love reading all the creepy books this time of year!

And speaking of Halloween – I couldn’t be more excited for the movie coming out this month. My husband and I will definitely be going (he has to work on opening weekend, so I’m getting tickets for the weekend after). Can’t wait!

And I want to know what your favorite suspenseful books are. Leave me a comment so I can add them to my TBR list!

My Halloween TBR list

Have you read any of these? What did you think?

Okay here’s the right post for this comment! Lol.

I’m excited for the new Halloween movie too! The original two scared the heck out of me as a teenager. I think I was barely a teenager when I watched them.

I tried Paper Ghosts and could focus. Uprooted was also a disappointment, but everyone else seemed to love it. Hope your Halloween TBRs knock your socks off!

My husband and I watch the original every year. It is my absolute favorite movie. I love a good scare!
I hope I like Paper Ghosts. I know it wasn’t a huge hit with most of my friends, so I’m going in with really low expectations.

I havent read any of those but love a freakout book – I’ll have to see if any of those are at my library for October

I read both Our House & Last Time I Lied in September. I didn’t get on too well with Our House – my main gripe being it felt so incredibly long, but it has had a lot of buzz here in the UK. Really quite enjoyed Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager; an author I’ve come to really enjoy new releases from. Also, random, but in the US the book is titled The Last Time I Lied and in the UK it is titled Last Time I Lied… I know books are marketed differently in certain countries, but I just don’t get that one!

I hope you enjoy all the books you’re able to enjoy this October – and your movie!
