{WWW Wednesday} 10-10-18

W… W… W… Wednesday, hosted by Taking on a World of Worlds is a weekly meme showcasing what you just finished reading, what you are currently reading, and what you plan to start reading next. Except I’m changing it up a bit, since I can never plan what I’m reading next (moody reader). Instead I’m going to talk about a book I’ve recently added to my TBR that I’m excited about!

what i recently finished reading

I didn’t love The Clockmaker’s Daughter like everyone else seems to. It was good, but it felt like it drug on in the middle and got bogged down with too many details. I will still try another book by this author in the future – her writing is beautiful.

Cross Her Heart was just okay. I liked the authors last book more.

I feel like each book in the series just gets better (but longer), and I really liked Scarlet.

 what i’m currently reading

Third time’s a charm, right? I was actually almost halfway into A Discovery of Witches last time I picked it up, but it’s been so long that I don’t remember anything and have to start from the beginning again. I’m buddy reading this with Renee from It’s Book Talk in hopes it will make me want to finish it!

I think Cress is my favorite of the series so far. I love Thorne. 😀 This book and the final book are long and will take me some time to get through.

what i have recently added to my tbr

I’m a big Harlan Coben fan, and I get excited about his book releases every year. He’s only ever disappointed me once – hoping this one is another good one!

Reading anything good this week?

Yay, Cress is my absolute fave in the Lunar Chronicles. Winter is good but there was a little too much going on for me (and it’s mahoosive).

I’m also reading A Discovery of Witches right now and so far so good. It’s not the fastest of reads (and it’s longer than I realised) but I’m enjoying it. And I really want to finish it so I can watch the TV show 🙂
