W… W… W… Wednesday, hosted by Taking on a World of Worlds is a weekly meme showcasing what you just finished reading, what you are currently reading, and what you plan to start reading next. Except I’m changing it up a bit, since I can never plan what I’m reading next (moody reader). Instead I’m going to talk about a book I’ve recently added to my TBR that I’m excited about!

what i recently finished reading

I haven’t read a Christina Lauren book I didn’t enjoy. Twice in a Blue Moon wasn’t my favorite, but I really liked it.

The audio version of The Chain was pretty creepy.

Again, But Better was a disappointment. Maybe I wasn’t in the mood for it, but I just wasn’t a fan of the story or the characters.

I listened to Under Currents and really liked it.

I also listened to Waiting for Tom Hanks, and it was cute. Annie was super annoying, but I liked the story, the references to so many of my favorite movies (I also love Tom Hanks…who doesn’t?!) and the fact it was set in Columbus, Ohio. There was even mention of The Book Loft, which is a bookstore I’ve been to!

what i’m Currently Reading

I was too impatient to wait for my library hold and bought a Kindle copy of The Most Fun We Ever Had. Loving every minute of it!

Listening to The Gown (another Summer Reading Guide recommendation) and The Happiness Project, which was recommended by someone in a Facebook book club I joined. They said it was their favorite book of the year so far, so I had to read it!

what i have recently added to my tbr

I keep seeing this book on Instagram and finally caved and got a Kindle copy.

Reading anything good this week?

The Chain was good, but predictable. And Again, But Better was fun, but not the best read. I just enjoyed it at the time I read it because it was so OTT and predictable and I needed that at the time. The Gown is really good and I’ve only read bits of The Happiness Project. The Most Fun We Ever Had sounds really good. Seems like you are having a great reading summer 🙂 You are reading so many great books. Love it!

I definitely can’t wait to get a copy of The Chain! And I’m curious what you make of The Happiness Project… Have a wonderful weekend! xx

Glad to hear you enjoyed the CL book, and mostly enjoyed Tom Hanks. I do love those sappy rom-coms mentioned! I’m thinking of requesting a library copy of Undercurrents, but Nora Roberts can be hit and miss with me. 🙂
