W… W… W… Wednesday, hosted by Taking on a World of Worlds is a weekly meme showcasing what you just finished reading, what you are currently reading, and what you plan to start reading next. Except I’m changing it up a bit, since I can never plan what I’m reading next (moody reader). Instead I’m going to talk about a book I’ve recently added to my TBR that I’m excited about!

what i recently finished reading

I really liked Sorry I’m Late, I didn’t want to come. It had some boring parts, but was entertaining most of the time and I loved that it was narrated by the author.

Life and Other Inconveniences is going to be one of my top reads of the year. It was everything I hoped it would be.

An Anonymous Girl is one of those books that I wasn’t dying to read, and it’s not getting the best reviews. I put it on audio hold at my library, because one of the narrators is Julia Whelan (my favorite). I ended up loving it!

Foe was just weird. It was a short book (I did the audio version). It was okay – I liked it enough to finish. I had the same feelings for this author’s last book. Maybe I should just give up reading his books.

what i’m Currently Reading

Beyond the Point is really good. Now that I’ve picked it back up, I’m flying through it.

I’ve always love Sarah Morgan‘s holiday-themed books. I’m trying this one on audio and so far it’s enjoyable.

That is great news about Life and Other Inconveniences, I’m looking forward to reading it!
An Anonymous Girl is on my audiobook list, so I am thrilled to hear you loved that one as well.

Ugh. You are making me want to hurry up and get to Higgins’ book! I’ve been waiting to hear your thoughts on it. I actually tried listening to Anonymous Girl. I liked it, but I only got to 25% because I just wasn’t feeling that type of audiobook. I wanted something happier. I need to go back to it some time. Have a great reading week!

Yay! I’m thrilled you loved Life and Other Inconveniences, too! I have seen mixed reviews for An Anonymous Girl, too, so I haven’t be motivated to read it, but now I’m curious seeing as you enjoyed it. A narrator can make a big difference, right? I’ll look it up again. 🙂
