Except I’m changing it up a bit, since I can never plan what I’m reading next (moody reader). Instead I’m going to talk about a book I’ve recently added to my TBR that I’m excited about!
We just got back from vacation, and I’m back to my regular schedule today. I had all these grand plans of reading a lot, and that didn’t happen until the drive home. I managed to finish one book that I was already 3/4 the way into. I was too busy enjoying time with family and having fun to pick up a book. 😀

I absolutely loved Evvie Drake Starts Over! It had the perfect blend of romance and humor mixed in with some more serious issues, and I loved the author’s writing style. Perfect summer read!
I found Southern Lady Code to be kind of obnoxious. Maybe because I listened to the audio version.
I picked up The Body in Question because it was on one of the summer reading guides I follow and another book blogger recommended it. It was such an addicting and quick read that I finished it in a day.
I love the cover of The Last Resort. Unfortunately, that’s the only thing I love about this book. I listened to the audio version and it was meh.

I’ve been trying to read my ARCs in publishing date order, so I’ve been putting off the Christina Lauren book, but it’s been calling to me. I’m glad to hear you’re liking it!

I thought Southern Lady Code was cutesy and mildly funny… nothing super special though.
